BIO Hilary Goldberg works professionally as a filmmaker and writer. She lives in Los Angeles, California. Her most recent film "in the Spotlight" is traveling the film festival circuit in 2007. The film stars Guinevere Turner, Michelle Tea and Clint Catalyst in a noir faery tale about a literary hoax. Her film "Beyond Lovely" featuring Guinevere Turner and Vaginal Davis has appeared at over sixteen international film festivals, as welll as aired on MTV's Logo Network. Both films are distributed by Power Up Films. Hilary and Ani's documentary feature film "Render: Spanning Time with Ani DiFranco" has wide distribution and is available at major record store retail outlets as well as independent record stores, and online. "Giraffe Medicine" her poetry collection is available from CD Baby and Itunes. She tours nationally as a Spoken Word artist performing at large festivals, bars and colleges. "Giraffe Medicine Book" has recently been released, it contains ten poems from the "Giraffe Medicine" CD and six new works entitled "Walking Darkness Home". Hilary has created "The Land", a trilogy film project, for Power Up Films as part of the Filmmaker Grant Program.
